As Project Leader for the Darwin Initiative project Enhancing the Relationship Between People and Pollinators in Eastern India I am working in partnership with Dr. Basu and his team to build an inter-disciplinary research centre at Calcutta University.
My background is as an applied ecologist in agro-ecology investigating the management of farmland to promote bio-control, pollination and biodiversity. I am interested in how intensifying farming practice affects ecosystem service provision and in the significance of co-adaptation between insect herbivores and their host plants for farmland management.
